401 Winchester brass

Hello!
One of my friends has a beautiful Winchester semi-auto rifle in .401 Winchester.
Is there a place where I can find some brass for it?
Or can this brass be formed from another one?

Try Ellwood Epps for .401 cartridges.

The 12th Edition of the Handloader's Digest has an article on loading for the .401. The author says to make .401 cases from 35 Remington brass.

The Handloader's Manual of Cartridge Conversions says to use 9.3x72R cases.

Brass can be formed from 7.62x39 trimmed and an extractor groove a little deeper and .401 you will have.
