40cal glock mags in a 9mm

I picked up some new factory 10 round glock mags and on a whim grabbed a 40 cal one as well because I had heard you could load 11 rounds, it functions fine in my ruger pcc bit I was surprised I could only load ten rounds. Everything I read said you could get an extra round in, are the latest batch of mags pinned differently than older ones? It in a ruger pcc but thought I would ask all the glock gentlemen in this forum instead.

10 rd specific mags are less forgiving. Pinned to 10 ones work better.

Good to know I plan on picking up some Korean mag when I find some in my travels (no credit card dont do online)

My KCI .40 mags are fairly reliable with 9mm rounds and I can get more than 10 in them.
