Well I bought 2lbs of Hodgdon Universal and would like some pussy load.
I called Hodgdon and the guy told me those stats:
180 GR. HDY XTP Universal .400" 1.125" 5.0 973 26,500 PSI 5.8 1046 33,400 PSI
he said I can go a few .tenth under 5.0gr no problem.
well 5.0gr gives 175pf (973*180/1000)
If I do a rules of 3, to have 135pf I would be looking for 3.85/4.15gr of Universal at 750fps. (from 5.0/5.8gr)
750/973*5.0gr= 3.85gr, 750/1046gr*5.8=4.15gr
Someone have done it? I guess I'll need a 11lbs recoil spring to replace the stock 16lbs from my cz75b? (like Angus)
