.41 mag info

Nicely spits the difference, and as long as you reload,...no worries!
Seems to be made for a nice, long barreled revolver with a suitable red dot
or scope...too bad we can't hunt with handguns in Kanada....
Seems to have an 'inherent accuracy', (hesitate to use the term) that is
lacking in the other two...(I still own several examples of both!)

I am thinking about getting a .41mag, already have a .357 and a .44 Need to hear some good and bad about the caliber and guns.

I've had a S&W Model 57 6" .41 Mag for many years. Great ctg in a great wheelgun. I reload for the ctg. & liked it so much I sold my Model 29 6" .44 Magnum after getting the .41 Mag. Just a personal preference. :D

It's a shame that there are not more .41 bullets available. If there were bullets available in the same weight range as the .44 the .41 might be the better round. The Smith guns are fine, but I have a soft spot for single actions, so I'd look at a 45/8" Blackhawk.

I have a S&W 657 .41mag
It is a great caliber to shoot.Very accurate.
You definatly would want to reload as the cost and availability of factory ammo is a bit of a problem.
