I'm using a Lee mold no.90858 , it's .430 diameter and 310 gr. It's very accurate, but too short to work in the magazine so it's single shot unless you carry one in the chamber and one in the ramp. I'm casting with wheelweight lead and making my own lube of 80% beeswax and 20% Crisco shortening.

Thanks Piper. Can't recall what mold my first supply were made from but it was close to yours. They were not seated very deep so they would feed at the 2.200" I have some heavier ones here to try too, 328 or so.

Go with the 8mm Lebel as a donor cartridge. .348 Winchester will not eject, and you will have ruined some fairly pricey brass.

Yeah I found that with mine, is the Lebel brass easy to find?

I would imagine it is out there somewhere. What my friend did was he had a stash of Berdan primed stuff and drilled out the primer pocket to use a 209 primer. I really don't recommend doing that. Really.

I would just give Dave at RMC a call and pay the 65 bucks for 20 and get them up here. They will last pretty much forever.
