.41 Swiss Rimfire

I recently bought what I at least think is a Veterelli rifle. As far as I can tell through Google no major companies make the .41 Swiss rimfire rounds it takes. Since I don't want to have a nice wall piece without at least firing it once, I was wondering if anyone on here knew of any places to buy the bullets, small companies and what not. Also, I don't really feel like converting it to center fire or paying extreme amounts for the rounds Remington made before they stopped making them.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry if this has been asked before, if it was I couldn't find it.

Dixie Gun works

KA1307 Brass Rimfire Case - .41RF (.400 Round Ball)

you use a .22 blank for a primer , and away you go.........
I do a .32 rimfire pistol with them.
:)

maybe Swiss cartridge is different ?
cheers

The Dixie case is for the 41 Short RF which is a small pistol ctg. The 41 Swiss is much larger and a bottleneck case. 41 Swiss was last made in the 1950s and any ammo would be unreliable and too expensive to shoot.

Original milsurp rimfire is 100 years old and won't go bang. There's a place in the US that sells new rimfire for $250/20 (plus export costs, shipping, etc.)! If you want to shoot it, a conversion to centrefire is your only viable option.

The conversion to centre fire is very simple, and you can get brass(central fire) from Buffalo Arms, soft cast bullets the same size as .44 Mag. work in those barrels.

Ben, I talked to Buffalow and they wouldn't ship to Canada. Did they recently change their policies?

It is VERY easy to get 348 Win brass, neck it up then trim it to length and bingo have suitable brass to use. Lee makes dies.
