I can get the challenger hauls at my local gun shop, and the guys at the club have suggested these hauls work just fine. The new AAHS doesn't give as many reloads as they use to apparently. Anyone have experience with this also? What components/powder would you guys suggest? I would want to load closer to maximum because out of 25 shots with factory challengers 23/25 reset the trigger on my DT-10 without trigger work.

Challenger uses Cheddite hulls. I use the 3" ones but I am not sure they last longer than HS hulls. I picked up new 3" hulls and BPI wads from Will Bilozir in AB, google you will find him. I think I use the MG410 wads.

I did notice Cheddite hulls seem to be softer and if you have too many pellets in them they expand and don't just drop in the chamber. Leave a few pellets out and no problems. I also found using the BPI "super crown crimper" starter resulted in a perfect crimp.

Loading max results in shorter hull life. Personally I would have the work done to you gun that way you never have to worry about that second shot.

Reloaded myself some last night on my grabber, 13.1 gr of lil'gun, sp410S wad , and cheddite primer. On the odd one it was 12.9 gr - 13.2. should i be concerned ? i only loaded one box and thought i would get a #9 bushing (currently using #10)

actually brybenn,
Using top barrel first ill never ever reset the trigger for the second shot. only by shooting bottom barrel first then top it will reset 90% of the time, thats why I'm trying to load max psi first.

Pressure has nothing to do with resetting the trigger, recoil resets the trigger. To get max recoil energy increase total weight of load ( includes weight of powder ) and or increase velocity.
I think you would do better using H-110, I have tried Lil'gun and found H-110 worked better for me.
