Im trying to figure out how to take my wooden forend off the forend tube.. Its tight as hell on it.. I dont want to brake it.. Does someone have some ideas i could try?
Here's a yewtewb video.
Maybe some CLP or other penetrating oil
in there first.
I think the ultimate trick would be to own/beg/borrow
that special tool for the end nut removal.
I was thinking about using the forend nut and use a teflon cylinder and hammering itto make it loose... That tool is nice.. I bet i can buy that somewhere!
I have a tool and it works well but I have always just used needle nose pliers with a set of vice grips clamped on them to keep the pliers from spreading and to get some torque. Just take your time
Cheers
