.410 shotgun advice

I only know a .410 double of any quality at all is expensive and because of that are hard to find in stock... and with such a small shot column it takes an expert to shoot one well.

There is a nice one (O/U) in the EE for $2750.

Canuck .410 O/U. 26" barrels and steel receiver. Comes with 5 Mobil-chokes. Single select trigger. Has extractors not ejectors. Usually $650 or so new. There was one on the EE recently, don't know if it was sold.

Whatever you buy ensure its full choke fixed or a selection of chokes includes full choke.
Myself I discovered a long time ago that a cylinder choke with 2 1/2 or 3 inch chamber is a 50-50 gun at even just twenty yards. Sure. It's superior for slugs. But no right thinking small game hunter shells out bucks for an accurate 410 slug shooter.

I know a lot of guys swear by the .410 for grouse and hares around here but I am not a fan of it for birds at all, even in the hands of good wingshooters it is a humbling proposition. Make mine a 28 or 20 gauge please and thank you.

It aint a double, but it has an ejector and a single trigger and it is a .410 .

The original poster hasn't bothered responding in over a month so maybe he already bought one or changed his mind. Despite saying he wanted to know of one for best value for single trigger and ejectors, that is a poor indicator of what he wants to spend. A little more input from him would go a long way.
