I have a single shot .410 shotgun but there is NO make on it. It has a serial # and a model # which is 151. The only other thing is it has "APEA" stamped on the inside of the action (have to take the barrel off to see it). It does say that it is made in brazil. My question is "APEA" a make? I have googled it but came up with nothing.

Thanks Turkeyslayer 1300 for pointing me in the right direction.

This looks just like the one I have.

CBC in Brazil made this under their own name and others. I believe Sellier & Bellot is a CBC brand! It was the CIL model 402 and it is also the Remington model 812. It was probably also sold/marketed under other names as well! Was sold in 410, 28, 20, 16 & 12 GA. Nice little shotguns! I have the 410, 20 & 12 GA and they'll definitely shoot where you point them. They're nice because there's a hidden spring loaded release to remove the forearm and barrel so it breaks down into 3 pieces for storage etc. The weak point is the bit at the end of the forearm that mates up to the curve of the receiver is plastic and can sometimes break. An easy fix with super glue and a little grinding to give better clearance on that radius. If I'm not mistaken they are late 60's 1970's vintage. They also have a plastic trigger guard and break release but so far I haven't experienced any issues with those. Sorry, APEA doesn't mean anything to me but I'll have a closer look at mine tonight to see what barrel markings there are. Not a real high end gun but lot's of bang for the buck! :D:D

Apparently.......... "The Remington Society Journal had two articles on the 812, 1995 3rd Qtr. and 2002 4th Qtr."

I have the 12 ga. version was given to me by my FIL.

Sorry can't help you with your question. I would call it a CBC 151. But why does it bother you so?

looks like a remmy 812 (CBC). made in the factory remington built in Brazil. I've shot a few of these before. . .
