410 Slug stories?!

Has anyone ever used slugs with a 410 for hunting. Just curious to see if anyone has any stories/experiences or info. on muzzle velocity/energy levels. Thanks. Art

I have terminated the nocturnal predations of several foxes via the judicious application of the Brenneke 1/4 oz 3" .410 load. Completely satisfactory. My uncle used this same load on a mid-sized cow moose, shooting her in the forehead from a range of about 15' when he was headed to the outhouse one fall morning - end of story...
