416 Rem Mag offerings?

I'm just starting to look and have decided on eventually purchasing a 416 Remington to accent my 8 Mag. Who offers (or offered) a good 416 Remington. I'm not interested in any $3000 rifles. Open to opinions and personal experiences. Is the new Winchester Safari the best option for the money or are there others that are worth waiting for?

Sako has chambered rifles in .416RM and I owned one in a Remington Classic - big mistake to sell that one. Blaser chambers it but it would probably be over the $3000 budget.

I believe Remington also built their BDL Custom D Grade in .416RM, and Ruger made their No.1 in that chambering too.
 
You can put a new barrel on any 700 long action magnum for probably $700... I made several many years ago...
 
M700 Classic in 416 Remington might even tempt a Rigby fan like me.

My PH in Zim had a M700 APR (I believe - don't quote me on that) with a synthetic stock and magna porting in 416 Remington as a loaner. I was all set to use it on my hunt...then I broke the reticle in his scope sighting in. I know that I was risking a double case of dickdropoffitis by not only using a push feed rifle on a dangerous game hunt, but also using the evil 416 Remington. Fortunately I was spared by using a M77 African in 375 Gatehouse.
