Who owns one and loads for it? I picked up some Hornady 400gr RN, and looking for some starting load suggestions. Rifle is a CZ550.
I have a box of those Weldcores in Federal factory ammo. I'm saving them - maybe for im next year (depending on rifle permit issues).
H4831SC is a great Rigby powder. My go to load with 350 X Bullets is 101.0 gr. Hornady lists max with the 400 gr RN as 98.6 gr of H4831. The case runs at such low pressure that it will probably handle more than that, but 2400 is all one really needs (or wants) out of a 400 grain bullet.
Are your bullets the new DGX? I got a box from the Hornady rep at SCI but haven't tried them yet.
