Guy I know up here built a 458 American, and uses any and all standard belted magnum brass, 264 win, 7mm Rem, 300 Win, 338 Win, that has cracked necks, and consequently unsuitable for reloads. Most of it he picks up at the range.
He just hacksaws of the shoulders with a 20 tooth/inch blade, then anneals, and then forms, trims to length, chamfers and loads. I'm sure you could do the same for your 416X2inch.
