.429 hollow base boolits?

I had a Lyman 429422. It is a Keith design of the 429421.
Casting was a slow process as it is a single mold. There were lots of rejects.
The specs suggest a 225 grain bullet, but mine were running 215 as the mix was harder.
Used them for a time for Silhouette and eventually bought a similar commercial lead bullet that weighed 245.

Boolits? Or bullets?

Smart arse ;)

Hmm - do you remember if it was a one-off design or some sort of standard mold?

Yes BOOLITS !! As in cast BOOLITS. I've not seen a hb 44 mold. Would like to see one though. Ask over at castboolits . Great bunch of guys and the best site there is for BOOLITS.
