43 spanish and 42 Berdan ???

what i understand then i can buy 43 spanish or 42 Berdan from buffalo Arms , buy a cheap Lee set of dies of 43 spanish and reload for my 42 Berdan!!

I can't find any specs on the 42 Berdan.........but....you can use 45-70 brass to form 43 Spanish in a set of 43 spanish dies in 1 operation. It is a tad short but works fine. A much more economical option than paying 3.50$ or so for 43 Spanish brass. Good luck with your project.

I had 43 spanish brass and the extractor on my Berdan had trouble grabbing onto the rim - kept slipping off and not extracting my brass. Your mileage may vary.
