I have the same rifle does yours cycle smoothly?

I dismantled mine, polished every part its better now, the last 1/2" is still hard to close because of the ejector spring. The 94 will shoot 5 shots in a 1 1/2" group at 50 yards with black powder loads.
Have you found any jacketed bullets?

I will only get the rifle monday, according to canada post,so i dont know yet how's the action is. I found some winchester ammo, 200gr jacketed. I will set up for casting shortly. Are you happy with your rifle? Does the ammo feed well? I read that win 94 in 44mag sometimes dont feed well in fast cycling because the action is still for the longer 30-30 cartridge so i wonder if its an issu for 44-40 as well?

The only feeding problem I had was the case rim hanging up , after I bought the Lee crimp die the shells go through the rifle like poop through a goose.

I added a lever wrap its a lot easier on the knuckles, you have to crank it like you hate it buts it shoots good!
