.44 cal Jaeger Italian Percussion Rifle

I would like some information on a Made in Italy .44 cal Percussion Jaeger black powder rifle that has full stock and the barrel is 36 inches long.
Woodwork is in very good shape and has a single trigger, and patchbox on the butt.
Does anyone know if it is a good shooter and about how much it would be worth?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I would expect the barrel to be similar to other Italian rifles and probably be reasonably accurate. Value is what someone else will pay for it :>)

I have one just like it and had one in flint also. They are miles ahead of the Spanish rifles. Mine is more accurate then I am. I paid $160 for mine from a buddy. The only changes I wanted, replaced the front sight, thanks Nessy, and stripped the bluing off the barrel. Is yours marked "Kentucky Jaeger"? Somewhere I have the Italian date codes if you PM me the serial number I will try to track down the manufacture date for you.
