44 mag once fired brass

Where the heck can I get some of this brass in BC.Seems to be a bit of a struggle.Ideas pls?

You can try the DVC range, but odds are you'll be better off ordering new starline brass.

Starline appears to be out as does marstar and lots of others.Only brass I can find is from Wild west in the west edmonton mall.Are these people a good place to puchase from?

Wild west is ok. Its all once fired range brass. It will come dirty but I haven't had a problem with them yet.

Why wouldn't you start with new brass? Cheez, it will last you forever, and if you buy new, you will KNOW its history, something you can't say about "once-fired". Once-fired by the guy selling it, or in his shop. Maybe over-pressured, which is why it is for sale, fired thirty or forty times, case mouth work hardened, but they only fire once each time you load 'em!

well thats only if you get it from a crook, most people are honest

even 5x fired you will not be able to tell a difference

If it lasts forever, as you say, then what difference does it make?

Given the price difference between new and once-fired brass, it's still worthwhile even if you lose a few cases early to cracked necks.

You can usually tell brass that's been shot more than once from the shiny die marks on it. Once fired brass doesn't have die marks and then you know it's actually once fired. I won't buy "once fired" brass that the seller has sized because I'm sure that some people are doing that to camoflauge brass that has been reloaded multiple times.

I have new brass I never used. All my brass is many X fired. I'm not a high volume shooter but in the last two years I did not lose any 44mag but did split 2 38spl and 1 357 case. Each time it split when I was reloading it.
