44 mini in a 50 sabot?

I received A bag of 44 cal mini's that were suposed to be 45 cal's. Is it advisable to just put them in a 44/50 sabot and use them in my 50 cal or should I just save them for a melt and cast ?

A happy accident that means its time to buy another gun!

Personally I would just melt them down or trade them to someone that can use them.
