hello i just woundering were i can locate some of this ammo. main use will be for small game and for target practice because of the lite recoil. its for a ruger 77/44 if your woundering.
thanks!

I take it you don't reload?

Try to find some 44 mag 'cowboy' spec loads, for cowboy action shooting. They won't be substantially cheaper, but they will be very low power and low noise. Plus, the full-length brass ought to keep your chamber cleaner, and provide better accuracy by having the bullet sitting out closer to the lands int he barrel

unlike 38 special being much cheaper than 357 mag, 44 special is usually quite a bit more than 44 mag. odd I know, but it comes down to supply and demand. reloading is they way to go, but cowboy loads offer another option for
light plinking. wolf reloads are probably the chepest you'll find if you can find them.

SURPRISE you came to the right place! w:h:

Have a look around the reloading forum and you'll find tons of information on the subject. Reloading is a lot of fun and super rewarding (accomplishment and money back in your pocket wise)!

I'm hoping to start reloading 44mag in the near future... just need to get myself a Marlin lever 44 first :D
