X-Reload has .44 spl brass from Starline, bullets are available from a number of sources, large pistol primers are easy to get and powder..... well....

great, thanks for the info. i had good luck with speer bulk 44 bullets, soft lead semi wadcutters. came in 500 round packs, 240 gr. anyone seen these anywhere?

If you added your location to your profile, we could give you specific advice.

In Ontario, the DRG brand of cast lead bullets are readily available (made in Guelph.) Cost about $35/500 for the 240 SWC.

I have made a point of buying brass when I happened to find it. It is harder to find than the 44mag size.

thanks for the info, manitoba here. i had really good luck with the speer bulk pure leads. if you find em you should give em a try

Most gun stores will carry it, the cowboy crowd uses it. Epp's usually has it, Canadaammo sometimes has it. It isn't cheap, but still cheaper than buying virgin brass to reload. Shoot the ammo, and reload the brass

I also buy lead and brass from the bullet barn for my 44 specials. I have not seen factory ammo at any of the big box stores but here and there I find the odd box of Winchester at a lgs
