Fellas,
I have a .444 Marlin its old and the shells jam when I lever the action. The cartridge only comes out of the tube part way and sticks there, cant push it back in the tube or move the lever. I have to remove the lever and push the cartridge into the chamber and then remove it. I took it to a local Edmonton gunsmith and I just tried it again and it still jams. Not keen on taking it back.
Does anyone wanna have a go at it? I cant really rely on the danged thing when im guiding ..... im thinking of selling it off and getting a newer one .... it scratches the hell out of the cartridge too (whatever it is)...doesnt matter if I lever it fast or slow, same thing happens.
I hate to part with the ol girl so I dont really care who fixes it as long as it gets done.........help.
