444 marlin outfitter

just curious what guys think of these. i've got an old 444s model, pre safety. its nice. just wondering if the outfitter is outrageously loud with the ported bbl?

Barrell porting makes guns louder, if the Outfitter has a shorter barrel than your 444 that would also make more noise

thanks for the info. i was curious, did they ever make them without porting? anybody have any opinions on this rifle. present/past owners?
