.44mag

H110. Good luck finding any though.
I'm also using SR-4759 which has been discontinued so, again, good luck.
I'm told 2400 is also excellent but since it's an Alliant powder, good luck.

For light to moderate loads I have been using Tite Group since that's what I've been able to find. Saving my last ~1/3lbs of H110 for my full house loads. Been shooting most powder coated bullets through my 44mag with intermediate special-magnum loads.

h110/w296 is the go to powder for most magnum calibre's, 357, 44, 460, 500.

lilgun, 2400, AA1680, AA5744, imr 4227 are other good choices.

H110 and Winchester 296 are excellent but tough to find. IMR 4227 is slightly milder but I can get it at Cabelas quite often. It works fine for 357 mag,44 mag and 500 S&W. Unless you like the punishment, you are best to load your 44 mag below max. For a 240g FCPRN like those from Budget Shooter, try about 23.0 g of 4227 with a 1.600" OAL. Should be about 1300ft/sec

800x will work for most magnum loads for pistol. Some rifle loads you can use win 296 imr4227 it all comes down to what you can find.

I am going to try a load listed in the LEE reloading book - 8.3 of 700X under a 240 gr. lead - in a Chiappa rifle.

24.0 grains of H110... or 23.0 grains of Lil' Gun with the 225 FTX are my preferred jacketed loads.
