45-70,444,450???

now, as per the original question about recoil, i can say there is a HUGE difference when you start slinging 400 grain bullets around. i owned both a 45-70 and 444, prefer the 444. the 45-70 is not at all bad with 300 grain bullets and a decent recoil pad.
