45/70 bolt actions

anyone have one of these tucked in their gun collection....I was thinking about putting one together..post your pics if you have them

I have a very nice Siamese with Fajen stock & 25" x 1" barrel to tame recoil.
Shoots very nice, didn't feed really good when I got it but a couple strokes with a file & it works good now! Takes a real knack to get these to feed properly, I was lucky!!

There's an older gent at Ridgedale with one. He mows down bowling pins with it at 75 yards, freehand, iron sights.

Lottsa fun, stuff went "POOF!" when we hit it!

I've got a P-14 rebarreled to 45/70, I'll see if I can scratch up some pics for you. I know there's been alot of Lee Enfields done as well.

YEP!!! 300HPs @ 2400fps is considered varmint rounds
