45/70 brass

Matbe people that have 45-70 rifles keep them so they need the brass. I would think most retailers would have brass a popular round.
 
I have seen it for sale here many times, bought lots here too. I have never had a problem finding new stuff either. Bought probably 10 bags in the past from Russells(when they were open) and Wholesale Sports. I don't ever remember them not having it :confused:

I just bought a bag full of new remington brass off EE last week, along with other 45/70 stuff.

Now 7mm-08 is another story, I can't find it anywhere. Good thing 308 is so easy to convert over.
 
At almost $1.00 each...45-70 brass is saved for reloading. There are a few for sale but usually snapped up quickly. People that sell off their 45-70 rifles or stop reloading usually have brass for sale, but you have to be quick to get it..
 
I bought a few hundred new 45-70 brass from Mystic Player a year ago and his price was not much more than some of the used brass listed in the EE. He is great guy to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again.
 
I've noticed a lack of new at my favourite shop as well.
I have some, but now with two .45-70's to feed, I can use more.
(Should be a warning note on .45-70's. Dang things are addictive.)
