45-70 for T-Rex

Saw Jurrasic Park. Kinda cool to see a lever action front and center. Obviously a JM marked pre-Rem. Now I wish I never flipped mine.

Excellent point, but if you really know what you're doing you only need a .22, like my buddy's cousin's uncle.

Yes, the 45-70 is great on dinosaurs but how is it as a bear defense rifle

(picked up a JM 45-70 a few weeks ago, lovin the blast and kick. Still smiling)

If someone can provide an authentic, live T-Rex for testing purposes, I'd happily oversee the .45/70 segment of that test. I have the room, and a wide variety of .458 bullets on hand.

He never shot the T-Rex with the 45/70, it was the engineered dinosaur he shot. The T-Rex is the one that saved them.

The "croc"was a massivly oversized mosasaur. The hybrid that was shot was the Indomius Rex. The T-rex was the same T-rex from the original 1992 Jurassic Park. And all of this fails in comparison to the fact if i recall crocodiles are quite tough to kill so i can imagine that most small arms would be quite useless against a dinosaur, a brain shot would be a miracle with how small the brain was. How ever they say dinosaur bones are hollow like a birds and thats part of how they became so large without crushing theyre own bones under theyre own weight. So that might make the bone quite easy to penitrate.
