any of you fellows with a marlin guide gun have a Williams peep on it..if so did you have to drill and tap the receiver? ..and what model of sight do you use...also is there a xs sight dealer in canada?...thanks

.........incidently the XS system is awesome. My guide gun points with ease with the Ghost ring set up. Very quick like a shotgun.

, Got it from the dealer in Fort st John, I cant remember the name of the shop though. It is a very nice site to use.
 
I put a Williams rear and a low front site on my Marlin 45/70 cowboy as i wanted to shoot out a ways-500metres and it works great. The front sight is one of the bigger ones that takes the different types of inserts. I put the same rig on my 3030. Seems to work fine- I see lots of them at cowboy sillhouette matches.
