would anyone have 4570 cast load info on 457 #25 to 1 mix ,,,620 grain fb bullets yes 620 gr ...just got a as new nose pour mould at a show.. no markings on the maker but very well done just asking thanks don

I've flipped through a handful of older manuals and the closest I found was 570 gr in the Lee. 5744 18.9gr

If you look online, you should be able to find a free pdf of Lyman #44 reloading manual. Even then, it doesn't list 620 grain bullets, but has limited data for 552 grain bullets (and whether this data was pressure tested back then or not I can't say!). Depending on your rifle (trapdoor, Marlin, or Ruger #1) and how far you color outside the lines, you may be able to hammer something out.

For laughs i google 45/90 620 grain hard cast and you may want to try 45/110 also, ai had some interesting things to consider, some have been mentioned by others, it also mentioned using black powder as an option. Good luck.

what are you trying to run it out of? load data for some rifles maybe too much to run out of a Springfield. I load BP for the springfield and hotter loads for the lever.

I could run that in Quickload for you. Would need to know bullet length, seating depth or COL, and what powder you plan on using.

Embarrassing but true story. I inherited about 100 rounds of 45/70 reloaded for a Pedersoli Sharps. Mixed lead and jacketed and comfortable to shoot in my Sharps. Well… in my new Marlin 1895 SBL it beat the frock out of me !! Im downloading 405gr Campro bullets now as it took 2 weeks for my shoulder to recover. Some of my buddies that called me a recoil pussy have undergone shoulder surgery and are only shooting 28g at skeet now.

Thank God I don’t have to face any charges from dangerous critters here in the S/W province next to the Lake of America that would require a 620g boolit. Good luck and post some results with targets. Cheers !!

Few years back I bought a hundred 45/70 cast bullets with no gas check and they are 500 grainers
Never did try to get any data to load them up
Can’t imagine 620 grainers, I thought the 500s I got were super heavy lol

hey that would be nice im in danger of loosing your reply ....pushed to many keys....please resend your note to me and i willwork on it thanks im don
If you tell me COL, bullet length, and what powder you have, I CAN run it in quickload. Just post the info here or in a private message
