.45-70 Marlin & red dot sight

• budget-friendly Bushnell TRS-25 for improved low light performance
• runs on CR2032 battery 3 MOA dot & 11 brightness levels
• sighting with aperture I can still do with red dot sight mounted
• off hand accuracy @ 40m not too bad

tried that with a trs-25, just wish I had a spacer to get it a little higher, wound up back at a reflex type

I went another way but the scout scope is in QDs so it's easy to switch to the ghost ring. It has a light mount for low light situations.

Like my little red dots also, guess well see if the tuff enogh for the 45/70.

Thought I might need this riser mount but TRS-25 works fine on my Marlin without it.
