Jerry makes me want it
Imagine shooting BP in the bugger.
I read somewhere that the recoil is actually tamer than smaller 45 magnums like the 454Casull?
I'm kinda surprised that his plate rack survived...
A similar gun on EE right now on sale till Christmas. I have no involvement with the poster.

If you shot the BFR 45-70 you can't wipe the smile off your face.
Can I be glad that such guns exist without wanting to have one? I'm a .45-70 fan, but this just doesn't flip my switches.
Not that I wouldn't want to shoot a few rounds through one if I got the chance....

I shot one earlier this year. Recoil was stout but manageable in the BFR but I didn't try to one hand it. And yes, I was grinning ear to ear. That is a factory round and not a reduced velocity handload. If you shot the BFR 45-70 you can't wipe the smile off your face.

It was a red-dot but I don't recall the make/model. I know that C-More Systems makes red-dots sights.Sweet. What's the sight arrangement on it?
