I am looking to buy some ammo in this caliber and I am thinking about getting 1000 rounds. Can anyone give me some reviews on the Wolf ammo? I did a quick Google search and it seems to be ####. Can anyone else give me their opinion? The reason I am asking about Wolf is because after I go through the 1000 rounds I plan to use the brass to reload.

Also can anyone speak on Norinco or Sellier & Bellot ammo?

thanks

S & B very good ammo
Norinco good, but a little bit dirtier then other brands
Wolf is factory reloaded, I shot some long time ago with no complains
try and find some cheap Blazer or AE, sometime our sponsored dealers have sales
Fiocchi also fully recommended

oh and for reloading I like blaser brass its small primer so one less thing to change on my loading bench

SFRC sells it! there is some russian ammo called wolf too but the box has a pic of a wolf

What are you shooting?

I can tell you from experience that both my Kriss super V's hate S&B, no problem in my 1911's or other handguns.

I run wolf and really like it. When I see it on Ryan's site I will usually grab a couple cases.

The Norinco stuff is pretty good too

I just received my first firearm. It's a M&P in FDE. I have not shot it yet. I am still waiting for my ATT, which hopefully will be here in a week or two.

I definitely want to get out there as much as possible, and get the price down as low as possible. That is why I will be looking to reload, and buy the ammo in bulk.

im not sure, but I know I cant reload my BDX brass (they reload it a certain way)

wold I am not sure of for reloading, but it is good ammo (the canadian wolf, not russian)

ryan at sfrc is a great place to get stuff

Can you post pictures of your bdx brass? Why can't it be reloaded?

Sorry I'm relatively new to the sport so I don't quiet understand.

The ammo you are looking at for $325 plus shipping is bare lead.

The stuff at Canada Ammo is jacketed. (Jacketed meaning that the lead is covered by a layer of hard metal.)

The bare lead ammo makes a big mess inside your barrel. Jacketed ammo is much better.
