Hi want to start loading for my .45 Glock I have the brass (UMC) and primers (Federal Champion) Now the million dollar question I have a brand new 500cnt box of 225Gr. RN FP BB from brass plus ND these have a .452 Diam. are these the correct Diam. bullets for this application or are they for .45 long colt only:confused:
Also any powder recomendations would be great I am half a year in COLD weather.
THANKS
Pete......

Those 225ers sound like they were meant for the .45 Colt's, but if they are .452 they would probably work anyways. I like the 200gr. swc or 185 gr "match" swc from M.t. Chambers. Seating depth and profile of the nose is critical for feeding in most autoloaders, so don't get down if those flat pts. don't feed.

All new .45Colts are now .452 in diameter. .45acp lead bullets are sized to .452. As has been suggested they likely are meant for the .45Colt but they certainly will work in your .45acp. 5.1 gr of Win 231 would be a good load with those bullets.

Take Care
