I've done the reloading thing in the past, and don't wish to get back into for now...

I'm looking for a source of factory or remanufactured 45 ACP LRN 230g ammo. I've purchased lead bullets from Wolf Bullets before, but I have no experience with their remanufactured ammo. Has anybody out there had any first-hand experience with it?

Any other Canadian (the closer to Calgary the better) sources I have overlooked?

Thanks,

Scott

I've used Wolf Bullets' remanufactured 38 specials, they're fine. Consistantly good, no duds or squibs out of about 500. One was seated way too deep and made it in the box somehow, the Mrs. noticed it and disposed of it properly.

Canadian BDX is in your province, so the shipping from them may not hurt as much.

I'm happily chugging my way through 1k .45ACP from BDX. Kurt is a stand-up guy, and his product is top knotch. I drove down from Edmonton to pick it up. Hell, bud, if you're in Calgary, it seems a nice drive on a Saturday...

Go BDX - good stuff.

Dan

Thanks guys! I'll check out BDX. You're right... Black Diamond is a nice drive from here!

Just checked out the site. Didn't see any LRN .45 ACP ammo - did I miss something? Our club mandates using lead for Steel Challenge... For FMJ, BDX looks like it'll be the way to go!

+1 for BDX. Its just "down the street" from you. I have used his reloads and components and am still smiling:D . It has functioned flawlessly and I have found it to be more consistent and accurate than most factory loads:eek: . I dont believe he loads LRN at this point but it does not hurt to ask as the demand may be out there. Kurt is a pretty busy guy and u may have a bit of a time getting ahold of him, but he does answer his emails. Keep in mind you need to prearrange for a pickup as he is not always available.
Good luck
dB:)
