Where can I find Lead semi wad cutter 185 grain for .45 ACP ?

I'm looking to put together a LOT of light recoiling practice loads.

Shot off 250 last weekend that a friend had tucked away and he no longer has a 45 for and he gave them to me. I've never reloaded lead in the 45 ACP.

They shot fine out of my 1911 though I did have to drop down to a 12 pound recoil spring. They had hardly any recoil at all. I've got the load data he had on the box and it is in line with published data. -0.3 grains starting load.

All I need is the 185 gr lswc and I'll be good to go. I just can't find any of them.....

Anyone with really light recoiling loads that use the 185gr LSWC I'd love to have your recipes

I case my own 230gn RN and SWC from wheel weights. With 4.1g Titegroup recoil is light for a 1911 thanks to all that metal. Any lighter might as well shoot my 9mm.

With the low speed below 900fps for light lows wheel weights are perfect for 45s

If you don't cast yourself check out Budget Shooting, Henry may have Missouri Bullets in 185 or 200 GR. Also check Higginson's they carry Hornady swaged in 200 GR. Buddy gave me a hand full of these and they shot very well.
