This is kind of neat. IIRC, quite a few years ago on the CGN EE, someone had for sale a Model 92 Wincheaster police lever carbine in this same pistol calibre. I believe it was Ex-South American police department issue.

Hmmm, how about a 20" or a 16" carbine version? And the same in a 9mm to boot? Stoke'em with flat nose or hollow points, that would be a hoot to shoot! Mind you, in a 24" tube, that would be the modern equal to the old Henry's, that "damn Yankee rifle you load on Sunday and shoot all week!"

You're correct on that senior.
A gunsmith buddy of mine has an original Winchester 92 made for
the Argentine Policia and it's a howl to shoot.
I want one of these puppies bad.

Check website again, this is in 45 long colt, not 45 ACP.

Marlin 1894's in .45 Colt can be reworked into .45 ACP. Gunwriter C.E.Harris has one.
