45 ACP mold

Any of you ever used a 180gr or even a 160gr bullet for .45ACP or even for the faithful .45LC? I'm thinking of getting a such mold just for the sake of trying it but I was wondering if any of you tried it before and have some first hand experiences and feedback.

My best results were always achieved using 200 grain SWC. I love my Hensley & Gibbs 4-gang steel mould: one of the best IMO.

160 and 180 are a little too light (and fast) for me. Leading would suck. Only ever tried 185 grain lighter bullets. It was OK, but not the best.

I have used 185gr bullets and thought they were OK. Sometimes the lighter bullets shoot to a different point of impact that doesn't jive with fixed sights.
