I'm not proud. I pick up and load both. And best of all I've got all the LPP snobs I shoot with trained to just sigh and hand me the SPP .45's so it's like I've got 6 or 8 times as many eyes and hands working for me.
I too hate .40S&W. If I had a nickel for every time I've been fooled into bending down to pick up that damn .40S&W brass I'd be able to buy a very nice Nighthawk.
Even with the .40S&W situation I'm leaning towards "going with the flow". I'm sort of looking around at options for a .40S&W gun for matches where I tend to lose too much of my precious .45's. I figure that if I load up one of the heavier 180 or 200gn bullets in .40 that it'll be sort of like shooting a "light" load in my .45's. And I won't be all OCD about finding every casing since there's lots of .40 brass just laying around... oh look, there's one now.....
