45 ACP Revolver

Mine is about 70 years old and the timing is off a little, but yes, it is accurate IMO.

S&W 1937, made for Brazil. They take half moon and full moon clips if using 45acp, or you can use 45 Autorim brass when reloading and operate it like a normal revolver. Clips are a bit slow to load and unload as they are pretty tight. These are big, solid, heavy framed revolvers, with decent S&W trigger pulls. They are fun to shoot for sure.

Yes, mine was made for Brazil and has the seal. However whomever said they are slow to load and unload are wrong. While it might catch a little on loading into the chambers, a quick spin of the cylinder makes them fall in place. Unloading is very fast.

I said the clips are slow to put the rounds in and out of......not to load in the cylinder.

Ooooohhhhhh...... ooops.

Yes, the metal clips are a beast to replace the spent cases, but they do make polymer clips that makes it very easy and fast. However, you cannot use the polymer moon clips for competition or as reloading for self defense situations because they are flimsy enough to allow rounds to fall off the clip if handled roughly.
I use them for the range though. They are awesome for target shooting because it is easy to reload a half dozen clips or more when the range goes cold.

I had own 625 for a while, compete with it , and they are pretty accurate. For the loading of the clips, you can get a California remooner, that will make the work easy, and by the same time, get a demooner, I know you can get it from Dillon, this is where I got mine.

Taurus makes/used to make a Tracker model in .45ACP

but I have no interest in .45acp revolver, I'd rather get one in 10mm...

I have owned a bunch of 45acp revolvers but I only have one left and it is a S&W M 625 Springfield Commemorative (see photo). All of these revolvers have been great and enjoyable to shoot. Regards, Richard:)

I picked up this really nice older Model 25-2 last year from the EE. I've tried it back as fas as 25m and found it quite accurate. With its wide target trigger it's best suited for single action shooting, although it works OK in double action as well. Loading and unloading the moonclips can be a bit arduous, so if I'm just practicing at the range I'll load the rounds in loose without clips. It's almost too nice to use as a competition revolver--I'll stick with my 686 for that.
