.45 acp rifle ANy Updates 2 years in the running???

45 super brass, externally, is identical to 45acp. It is much thicker through the web, which allows loading to higher pressures. Despite not being a SAAMI cartridge, it's still a lot more mainstream than 45-08.
 
There was an episode on the Military channel the other day that had the top ten close quarter combat rifles. The Kriss was number one out of the ten. It was in .45.....

ahahahahaha

I've shot a KRISS. It was utterly unremarkable. An overhyped failure to answer a significant drawback to SMG's (controllability in FA). Thompson's are smoother in .45ACP, and MP5's are just all around better guns.

Figures, I haven't shot it but some on CGN said it was very accurate. I do know that the Military channel does have a lot of hype so I can't say either way.

I am not sure how they figured that out, I am sure that it at most has seen limited us with some special forces units. How can they say it is the best ever if it has hardly been used?

Because the Military Channel isn't a credible source of information. Just like the History Channel - their primary focus isn't accuracy of information, it's making an interesting TV show.
