Anyone here on the board try this combination in a 1911? I prefer the 230 grain weight and online reviews are pretty positive about the round feeding and impact due to the fairly large meplat. If you have tried them, did you cast them yourself or is there a Canadian supplier for a few of these to try as they are pretty popular with the few cowboy shooters who still use a .45.
