well, my experience shooting it for the first time on Saturday, I was grouping a heck of a lot better than I was with my 9mm pistols at 10 yards.

my CZ P-09 and SP-01 Tactical were all over the map but with the Norinco 1911 and Glock 21 (I think), I was channeling their creators.

I found the recoil on these pistols more manageable.

granted, I don't like teh feel of the P-09...have to put the small backstrap on and see how that changes things. the SP-01 tactical though...way to heavy. :(

yeah, there wasn't much jump while shooting.

I wasn't paying attention to my bullet weights for the 9mm, but I might have been mixing them up, which may explain why they were all over the place.

making me think of getting something in .45 Auto though as it was pleasant to shoot. :)

I quite understand....dump that garbage plastic Cz....coincidentally....I'm looking for one? Go figure...I have found .45 hand loads to be quite soft shooting....personally I love the snap of .40..

Maybe the recoil of the .45 made you slow down and aim your shots. Laugh2

My experience agrees somewhat. I have HK45's that are stupid accurate for what they are. Pricey to shoot, though.

All my shooting world have change with the aquisition of my G19 Gen 4 Lonewolf 106mm NT barrel...

This pistol is as accurate as my custom 1911's are...
A game changer in my case... JP.
