so i made a bunch of .45 round when i seated the bullet a bit of the bullet went into the brass it was lead bullet and i guess the bellmouth wasnt open enough would it still be ok to shoot. i would assume it would be ok but i want your opinion

crazy ironic, the same thing happened to me for the first time the other day! 200gr. LSWC. yeah it was a case belling issue, just a c-hair more and it worked perfectly. i didn't shoot mine, but i only had 2. anything suspect i pull apart, save what i can and toss the rest. For me, its not worth the possibility of something grenading for a 30 cent round.

"...the bellmouth wasn't open enough..." Needs to be just enough to sit the bullet in the case mouth. Youll need a taper crimp seating die, if you don't have one already.
"...still be ok to shoot..." Better to pull 'em. The lead on the outside of the case will create a mess in your pistol.
