45 cal pistol bullets

I’m wondering if anyone casts 250 -300 grain 45 cal lead pistol bullets? I’d like to try some in my muzzle loader sabots in place of Hornady xtp’s.

Here's a pic of some I cast from a custom mold, the bullet is .453 dia. and 300 grs. I initially used it in my savage with mmp short black sabots. Accuracy and terminal performance was excellent. I had to go to a jacketed bullet when velocity exceeded 2300 fps.

Nice!!! Do you size them after casting or anything? Are you able to make your own jacketed bullets?

These particular bullets didn't require sizing with the mmp's in my rifle. I don't make any jacketed bullets but I do modify some of the pistol bullets to a spitzer style.
