.45 Carbine selection

.45 carbine

I made a .45 carbine with a glock 21, telescoping stock, scope mount, forward grip, and an extended match barrel w/ Vortex flashhider. Barrel is very accurate. Not expensive project either, and mags are 10-rounders, not 5 and abundant. It may go on the EE soon cuz I have got a USC/UMP conversion on the way, if someone wants a reliable, relatively inexpensive .45 carbine. check out the pics.

Hahn Precision makes AR15 magwell adapters for mags made for
Sten, Uzi, Colt, M3 grease gun, whatever else.

MGI makes an AR-15 modular lower with interchangeable magwells
This one takes grease-gun mags:

Usc/ump

Did you buy the USC/UMP conversion on the EE?

Kind of. I put a feeler out in the EE looking for a USC to have as a project gun to convert to a UMP, and a very skilled and industrious man in GP contacted me basically saying that he had the project done for me. I got the conversion, all the original parts, 5 USC mags and 5 UMP mags, as well as a fake silencer for the USC barrel. All the UMP parts (including the 8" barrel) are supposedly factory. Transfer went through today.

Hello all,
Anyone interested in helping out to compile a list of .45 carbines available.

I don't know if this specific kit is available in Canada, but the Special Interest Arms Enfield conversion looks interesting.

The USC / UMP carbines exist but are basically unobtainium from what I have been reading.

What about ar-15 .45 conversion kits / details?

Any information on existing carbines/ or conversions is welcome.
My only criteria are that the hardware be obtainable in our market.

The HK USC isn't unobtanium. It just requires some patience. Sometimes there are some around. Sometimes there aren't.
