It will likely work and might actually give better accuracy than 0.451" bullets. If they will chamber, and the profile is right to feed properly, you can use them with the same charge. Load one up in sized, empty, unprimed brass and measure the neck diameter, then compare to the diameter of brass fired in your gun. If the fired brass is two or more thou larger, then see how it chambers and extracts. I use 0.454" cast bullets in my 45 Colt.
