Never tried their .45ACP but the 9 mm is a sweet shooter!

Thanks Sailor!Grand Power....made in Slovakia (ambi controls)
I have one in 9mm. Nice guns but they have had trouble catching on here. They have changed distributors at least a couple of times. The last change saw a huge price increase which probably hasn't helped their cause.
I've owned the MARK 23 twice and is not a joke....it's a serious offensive combat pistol. At my 50 yard indoor range placing 10 rounds of factory 230 gr. FMJ in a grouping the size of a grapefruit standing up two hand tactical stance in fairly easy. I would feel very confident if I took it out to Silverdale outdoor range 100/200 yeards I could hit the gong many times using 200 grain +P @ 1050 fps at 200 yards.
Coupled with the Streamlight LAM (Laser Aiming Module) and Knights Armament Corp sound suppressor ....it's probably the most Elite Combat .45 Auto pistol on the planet. Standard 12 round magazine, long sight radius and match grade 5.9" Chrome lined barrel ....+P+ 200/230 grain premium JHP would be an insanely accurate package.
Once I get finances in order...i will buy it for the 3rd time, hopefully keeping it for many years down the road....that is...if I can still find a NIB MARK 23 ???
Such a lethal work of art...suppressed![]()

This is a great choice on a limited budget. Especially now that irunguns is selling a bunch of factory refurbished police trade ins for under $400 USD.

You must have huge hands, none of those guns (except possibly the 220 with reasonable grips fitted) would work for me. Also, none of those guns except the Glocks (which are really not good to shoot due to the insane trigger reach) are even reasonable priced. The Mark 23 is a bad joke, that costs, what, $3K? Yeah right.
