Finally got an M6 scout from WD40,and have read that the CZ /springfield m6 22lr/410 will also shoot 45LC. It sounds a little risky to me. Has anyone tried it in an m6 or any 410?? Jitc
I think there were some m6s with a 45LC/410 barrel which has been used in some pistols and other survival guns. It should specify on the gun if it is one of those 45LC/410 models. The bullet is too large on the 45LC to pass through the standard 410 bore, these guns had a smoothbore 45 barrel with a longer chamber, that is my understanding at least. Do Not fire 45LC rounds in a standard 410.
The outside of the 45 case and the 410 shotgun shell are pretty much the same size, but remember the forcing cone in a shotgun, this allows for the wad to seal. You can make a 45LC case into a shotgun shell but not put a 45LC bullet into a 410 shotgun.
